HTC ThunderBolt Smartphone Brings Real 4G Speed to Verizon

The HTC ThunderBolt connects to Verizon’s 4G LTE network at lightning-fast speeds. This fact alone makes the ThunderBolt an impressive piece of hardware, especially for users who routinely run high-bandwidth apps such as video chat, online gaming, and HD video streaming. Battery-life issues aside, the phone is another solid addition to HTC’s mostly impressive family of smartphones.
Video Rating: 3 / 5 – The Samsung Focus S is the second of two new Windows Phone 7.5 smartphones released by AT&T and Samsung this fall. Featuring a 4.3-inch, Super AMOLED Plus display and an 8.5mm thick frame, the Focus S is a dead ringer for the Galaxy S II Android smartphones from Samsung. It is powered by a 1.4GHz, single-core processor and has 16GB of internal storage, but lacks microSD expansion – like most Windows Phone smartphones. The Focus S has the same 8 megapixel autofocus camera as found on the Galaxy S II models, but it can only record 720p video, instead of 1080p. The Focus S is available now from AT&T for 9.99 with a new two-year contract. More info:

Their clever marketing ploy and perfect combination of hardware and software does the trick too

Who wants a phone that needs charging 2 times a day.
My current phone gets charged once a week!!

  6. countolaf32 says:

@DigitalDestined They’re pretty damn close. It’s really more a matter of personal preference than anything else. You should just use them both and see which one feels more “you.”

  7. KaiserFlamberge says:

First off, the iPhone 4 itself sucks balls and got terrible reviews. What makes it even worse is that the Verizon iPhone sucks even worse than it’s AT&T counterpart. Go with the Thunderbolt.

  8. AndroidPhoneHowTo says:

I don’t have lots of views. Could you guys please have a look at my Android HowTo videos please. It would be greatly appreciated. I hope that you won’t regret it!

  10. DigitalDestined says:

Hi! Do you think that the Thunderbolt is better than the Droid Charge?

  11. XmortdreadX says:

@jaijoedougwatt lol no, doesnt have 4g, its old. the iPhone 5 will do fine / good, but is NOT better than more recent phones

  12. jaijoedougwatt says:

The best phone on Verizon is the iphone4.

  13. TheDayanarachchi says:

We know ur reading off a script

  14. GlockNinja says:

Can use a phone, no matter how nice it is if it keeps running out of battery. Because of this one issue, I give the best phone on the Verizon Network tied Apple Iphone and Droid X2 :-)

  15. JaisenJames says:

geez that’s faster than my home isp

  16. aaronfowlowmusic says:

@XZombietimmy WTF are you talking about? It’s in 720p. You commented too early. It was probably still uploading the other resolutions, still.

  18. kickingseven says:

With the settings you can turn on the stop accidental camera launch…

  19. ffruitable says:

cloud storage does that mean the govt can look at your storage information whenever they want???

  20. dotnetpro says:

If you change to 720p and then tap “Save Settings” at the top of the video options, it will remember that setting.

  21. thainguu says:

wow so beautifull, powerful, strong menly :) ))

  22. dcseifert says:

@williewillus1220 As I stated in the video, I have not experience that behavior with the keyboard on any other Windows Phone 7 device that I have used. Most are very responsive, sounds or not, which leads me to believe that it is a bug in the keyboard software on the Focus S.

  23. MrMurder96 says:

    @mobileburn ah ok

  24. williewillus1220 says:

That’s why I turn off keyboard sounds the moment I get the phone…they do nothing but annoy and slow down the phone…

  25. dcseifert says:

    @MrMurder96 Yeah, what Michael said.

  26. TheJohnny2bad22 says:

Samsung feels cheap. Iphone don’t but will shatter if dropped

  27. mobileburn says:

@MrMurder96 Because I own the site and use the main MB account. YouTube does not allow multiple real accounts to access a single company account. -Michael

  28. MrMurder96 says:

@dcseifert +1 on the arguement, good review too, i was waiting for this one, but quick off-topic question, why did you respond to him from this account, not the mobileburn account?

  29. owensoft says:

    lol, cloud storage? hahhahahahah

  30. dcseifert says:

@bluestarkad17 No. I stand by what I stated in the video. It is an upgrade, but not just because it has 8 megapixels. It takes better pictures than the older model. Significant enough to mention it and point it out.

  31. bluestarkad17 says:

@dcseifert so are u mad?…i just stated EXACTLY what YOU said in the vid

  32. dcseifert says:

@bluestarkad17 The “he” that you refer to is me. So…yeah.

  33. bluestarkad17 says:

@dcseifert he did not say it takes better photos, he said it was a SIGNIFICANT upgrade…u act as if the original focus took horrible pics…get bent!

  34. YUPnNOPE says:

  35. GermanFootballPlayer says:

    @mstfa45 samsung note doesn’t

  36. dcseifert says:

@Inscent That doesn’t help you if the phone is unlocked or if you are in another app.

  37. dcseifert says:

@bluestarkad17 Never once was it stated that the camera is better because it has 8 megapixels. It is a better camera because it takes better photos.

  38. bluestarkad17 says:

    horrible review

  39. bluestarkad17 says:

since when is an 8mpx camera a “significant” upgrade over a 5mpx camera??….the number of mpx does not equate to how good the camera is…smfh

  40. bluestarkad17 says:

@mstfa45 the samsung omnia 7 doesnt

  41. Inscent says:

There is an option under “settings”, “applications”, “pictures+camera”, called “Prevent accidental camera launch when phone is locked” that CAN be turn on. :)
